Nicosia: The Department of Meteorology has reported significant temperature variations across Cyprus, indicating a hot day throughout the island. The highest temperature observed was in Nicosia (Athalassa), reaching 40°C, while the lowest was 21°C in Prodromos.
According to Cyprus News Agency, humidity levels also varied, with Pafos Airport recording the highest at 73% at 1200 UTC, while Nicosia (Athalassa) experienced a lower humidity level of 42%. Other notable temperatures include 34°C in Larnaka Airport with 68% humidity, 33°C in Limassol with 64% humidity, and 35°C in Frenaros with 65% humidity.
The report further details that Prodromos, despite having the lowest temperature, reached a maximum of 32°C, whereas Polis Pafos recorded a temperature of 36°C with a humidity level of 49%. These temperatures highlight the varying climatic conditions experienced in different parts of Cyprus.
