According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards from the coast, with atmospheric pressure recorded at 1011hPa. The presence of low pressure in the region may cause variable winds during thunderstorms, affecting sea conditions. Visibility is expected to be good, although it may reduce to moderate or poor during showers. The sea surface temperature is noted to be 23°C, with no warnings issued for the period.
For the West Coast, winds will vary from west to northwest at a strength of 4 to 5 on the Beaufort scale during the night, moderating slightly in the morning before picking up again in the afternoon. The sea is expected to be moderate, with some areas experiencing slight to moderate conditions.
The South Coast will see west to northwest winds, starting at 4 to 5 Beaufort, gradually decreasing to 3 to 4 overnight. The morning will bring northwest winds at 3 Beaufort, with the sea ranging from smooth to slight. In the afternoon, winds will shift to southwest to west at 4 to 5 Beaufort, maintaining slight to moderate sea conditions.
On the East Coast, the night winds will be from the west to northwest at 4 to 5 Beaufort, occasionally dropping to 3 to 4, resulting in slight sea conditions. These winds will continue through the morning and shift to southwest at 3 to 4 Beaufort in the afternoon, with the sea remaining slight.
The North Coast will experience southwest to west winds at 4 to 5 Beaufort during the night, resulting in moderate sea conditions, with some areas experiencing slight to moderate conditions. These conditions will persist through the morning and afternoon with west to northwest winds at 4 to 5 Beaufort, maintaining slight to moderate sea conditions.
