Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area around Cyprus, effective from 1800 on August 20, 2025, until 1800 on August 21, 2025. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and provides details about the weather conditions expected in the region.
According to Cyprus News Agency, a seasonal low-pressure system is currently affecting the area. The weather is expected to remain mainly fine throughout the forecast period, although there will be some increased low cloud coverage in the early morning, particularly over the western and northern parts of the island. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1003 hPa.
Visibility in the forecast area is expected to be good, and the sea surface temperature is noted at 29°C. Importantly, no warnings have been issued for this period, indicating stable conditions for those venturing into the sea.
