Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a weather forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that a seasonal low-pressure system is currently affecting the region. The forecast, which covers the period from midday on August 4, 2025, to midday on August 5, 2025, notes that while the weather will be mainly fine, there is an expected increase in low cloud formation tonight and into tomorrow morning, which could result in local mist.
According to Cyprus News Agency, visibility is generally good but may reduce to moderate or poor conditions in areas where mist develops. Despite the presence of mist, no weather warnings have been issued for the area. The sea surface temperature remains steady at 28°C, and the atmospheric pressure recorded at the time of the forecast issuance was 1010 hectopascals.
