Cyprus Weather Forecast: Seasonal Low Pressure Brings Fog Risks to Coastal Areas

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, highlighting the effects of seasonal low pressure on the region. Covering an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, the forecast outlines the weather conditions expected from 1800 on July 15, 2025, to 1800 on July 16, 2025.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the weather will remain mainly fine, although there will be periods of increased low cloud coverage. The forecast indicates that local mist and a risk of fog patches are expected, particularly over the southern and eastern coasts around dawn. These conditions may lead to reduced visibility, which is otherwise expected to be good, but could become moderate to poor in mist and very poor in fog.

The sea surface temperature is recorded at 27°C, and the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was 1001 hPa. Despite the potential for reduced visibility, no weather warnings have been issued for the forecast period.
