Cyprus Weather Forecast: Risk of Showers and Thunderstorms Expected in Sea Area

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting a change in weather conditions over the next 24 hours. The forecast, which covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, indicates that weak low pressure is currently affecting the region.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy during the evening, with periods of mainly cloudy skies and a risk of isolated showers. Both tonight and tomorrow, the forecast suggests that the area will experience mainly cloudy conditions with local showers and isolated thunderstorms. Despite the potential for showers, visibility is predicted to be generally good, although it may become moderate to poor during showers.

The sea surface temperature is currently recorded at 26°C, and no warnings have been issued for the area. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s release was measured at 1010 hPa.
