Cyprus Weather Forecast: Low Pressure Brings Cloudy Conditions and Showers

Nicosia: Low pressure is currently affecting the sea area of Cyprus, leading to predominantly cloudy weather conditions with local showers and isolated thunderstorms. During these storms, winds may become variable and strengthen, with dust present in the air, reducing visibility to moderate or poor during showers.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issue stands at 1011 hPa. Despite the unsettled weather, the sea surface temperature remains at 23°C, and no warnings have been issued for the period from 1200 on November 30, 2025, until 1200 on December 1, 2025.

The forecast details the expected wind conditions and state of the sea across various coasts of Cyprus. On the west coast, winds are projected to be west to northwest at force 5, occasionally reaching 6 in the afternoon, with the sea state being moderate. By night, winds will decrease to force 4 to 5, and in the morning, northwest winds at force 4 will result in a slight to moderate sea state.

For the south coast, afternoon winds will be southwest to west at force 5, locally reaching 6, with the sea being slight to moderate, locally moderate. At night, winds will shift to west to northwest at force 4 to 5, gradually dropping to 3 to 4, resulting in a slight sea state by morning with northwest winds at force 3.

On the east coast, afternoon winds are expected to be southwest at force 5, with a slight to locally slight to moderate sea state. At night, winds will vary between west to northwest at force 4 to 5, occasionally dropping to 3 to 4, maintaining a slight sea state. By morning, west to northwest winds at force 3 to 4 will prevail, keeping the sea slight.

For the north coast, afternoon winds will be southwest to west at force 4 to 5, locally reaching 5, with a slight to moderate sea state. Nighttime conditions will see southwest to west winds remaining at force 4 to 5, with a moderate, locally slight to moderate sea state. By morning, winds will shift to west to northwest at force 4 to 5, maintaining a slight to moderate sea state.
