Hanoi:The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, covering a span of 8 kilometers seawards. The forecast is effective from noon on October 12, 2026, until noon on October 13, 2026.

According to Cyprus News Agency, there is a weak low-pressure system influencing the area. The weather is expected to be mainly fine with occasional increased cloud cover. Isolated showers are anticipated, particularly along the west and north coasts.

Visibility is predicted to be generally good, although it may become moderate during showers. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 26°C. No weather warnings have been issued.

For the west coast, winds will be from the northwest at Beaufort scale 4, occasionally reaching 4 to 5 in the afternoon, with a slight sea state. At night, winds will shift to northwest to northeast at scale 3, with the sea being smooth to slight. By morning, winds will be southwest to northwest at scale 3, increasing to 3 to 4, with a smooth to slight sea state.

On the south coast, afternoon winds from the southwest will be at scale 4, locally reaching 4 to 5, with a slight sea state. At night, northwest winds at scale 3 will prevail, with a smooth to slight sea. The morning will see winds from southeast to southwest at scale 3, gradually shifting to south to southwest at scale 3 to 4, with a smooth to slight sea state.

The east coast will experience afternoon winds from the south to southwest at scale 3 to 4, occasionally reaching 4 offshore, with a slight sea state. Nighttime winds will be from the west to northwest at scale 3, with the sea being smooth to slight. By morning, winds will shift from northwest to northeast at scale 3, gradually changing to northeast to southeast at scale 3 to 4, with a smooth to slight sea state.

For the north coast, afternoon winds will be from the west to northwest at scale 3 to 4, sometimes reaching 4 locally, with a slight sea state. At night, winds will be from the southeast to southwest at scale 3, with the sea being smooth to slight. In the morning, winds will be southwest to northwest at scale 3, soon shifting to west to northwest at scale 3 to 4, with a smooth to slight sea state.
