Mumbai:Cyprus participated in Anuga Select India 2026, a major international food and beverage trade show held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre from September 29 to October 1, 2026.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the Cyprus Trade Center in New Delhi, under the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, represented the nation at the event. The focus was on showcasing high-quality Cypriot food and beverage products and fostering connections with Indian businesses.

Attendees, including distributors, retailers, importers, and representatives from the hospitality and catering sectors, were introduced to Cypriot products, with a particular emphasis on traditional halloumi cheese. The event featured tastings and live culinary demonstrations to highlight the product's appeal.

A Halloumi Masterclass, conducted in collaboration with the Cyprus Trade Centre and the EU pavilion, featured chef Altamsh Patel. This session emphasized the tradition, quality, and versatility of halloumi as a key Cypriot product.

The Ministry highlighted that Cyprus' participation in Anuga Select India 2026 is part of broader efforts to enhance export opportunities for Cypriot businesses.
