Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, indicating that weak low pressure is currently affecting the region. The forecast, which covers an 8-kilometer radius seawards, provides details on expected weather conditions from noon on May 28, 2025, until noon on May 29, 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the weather is expected to remain mainly fine throughout the forecast period. However, local mist, fog patches, and increased low cloud are anticipated during the nighttime and early morning hours. Visibility is generally good but may reduce to moderate or poor in mist and become very poor in fog conditions.
The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1008 hPa. The sea surface temperature in the area is expected to be around 22°C. No warnings have been issued for the sea area during this period, as the conditions are not expected to pose any significant threats.
