Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, indicating that a seasonal low-pressure system is currently affecting the region. The weather is expected to remain mainly fine, although some areas may experience increased cloud coverage at times. During the night and early morning hours, there is a possibility of locally increased low cloud coverage, which brings a risk of mist in certain areas.
According to Cyprus News Agency, visibility is generally expected to be good across most regions; however, it may become moderate to poor in areas affected by mist and very poor in those experiencing fog. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1006 hPa, and the sea surface temperature is noted at 29°C. There are no warnings currently in effect, indicating that severe weather conditions are not anticipated during the forecast period.
