Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued its forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, highlighting a period of mainly fine weather with the presence of a seasonal low pressure system. The forecast covers the time from 1800 on July 29, 2025, until 1800 on July 30, 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was recorded at 1003 hPa (hectopascal). While the weather is expected to be predominantly clear, there will be instances of increased low cloud coverage in certain areas. During the night and early morning hours, there is a potential for local mist and fog patches, particularly in the southern and eastern regions of the island.
Visibility in the affected areas is anticipated to be generally good, but it may deteriorate to moderate or poor in misty conditions, and become very poor in fog. The sea surface temperature around Cyprus is recorded at 27°C, with no warnings issued for this period.
