Cyprus Weather Forecast Highlights Impending Mist and Fog Over Coastal Areas

Limassol: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus for the period from 1800 on June 25, 2025, until 1800 on June 26, 2025. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and is based on the Beaufort scale for wind measurement. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was recorded at 1007 hPa.

According to Cyprus News Agency, a seasonal low-pressure system combined with a warm air mass is impacting the region, resulting in predominantly fine weather conditions. However, during the night and morning hours, local mist, fog patches, and low cloud coverage are expected, particularly in the southern and eastern parts of the region. Visibility is anticipated to be good generally, though it may deteriorate to moderate or poor in areas affected by mist.

The sea surface temperature in the forecast area is registered at 25°C, which aligns with the seasonal climate patterns observed in the region. The forecast provides essential information for maritime and coastal activities, highlighting the need for caution due to reduced visibility in certain areas.
