Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting a period of mainly fine weather conditions from 1200 on March 15, 2025, until 1200 on March 16, 2025. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards from the coast.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the region will be under the influence of weak high pressure and a warm air mass, contributing to the favorable weather conditions. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was 1018 hPa. The winds in the area are expected to remain calm, registering on the BEAUFORT scale, which is a measure used for indicating wind force.
Visibility throughout the forecast period is anticipated to be good, and the sea surface temperature is noted to be 19°C. Importantly, there are no warnings issued for the forecast period, suggesting stable maritime conditions.
