Cyprus Stock Exchange Sees Mixed Performance Across Indices

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) reported a mixed performance in its indices during today's trading session. The FTSE/CySE 20 Index, a crucial indicator, closed at 174.310, marking a decrease of 0.290%. The total traded value for the day amounted to 469,938.42 euros.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the Main Market Index saw a slight increase, closing at 232.270 with a 0.230% rise. This index recorded a traded value of 453,355.810 euros. Meanwhile, the Investment Companies Market Index experienced the most significant growth, surging by 1.880% to close at 3,110.270, with a traded value of 89,420.460 euros.

The CSE General Index also saw a positive change, climbing by 0.320% to reach 290.260. The traded value associated with this index was 468,275.760 euros. However, the Hotels Index faced a downturn, falling by 1.520% to settle at 1,910.850. This index had a relatively lower traded value of 2,510.500 euros.

In contrast, the Alternative Market Index closed on a positive note, increasing by 0.910% to hit 1,945.050, with a traded value of 14,919.950 euros. The indices' performance reflects varied investor sentiment in the market today.
