Cyprus Stock Exchange Sees Mixed Performance Across Indices

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) concluded its latest trading session with a mixed performance among its various indices. The CSE All Share Index registered diverse movements, reflecting both gains and losses across different market sectors.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index observed a slight increase of 0.560%, closing at a value of 185.770 with a traded value of 573,108.380 euros. The Main Market Index experienced a more substantial rise of 1.200%, ending at 249.290 with a traded value of 494,455.860 euros, signaling positive activity in the main market.

Conversely, the Investment Companies Market Index saw a decline of 0.330%, closing at 2,880.710 with a traded value of 16,256.350 euros. The CSE General Index exhibited a modest gain of 0.570%, reaching a value of 316.110 and a traded value of 573,220.730 euros.

The Hotels Index remained unchanged at 1,762.010, with a traded value of 1,000.000 euros. Meanwhile, the Alternative Market Index experienced a drop of 1.380%, closing at 2,112.870 with a traded value of 78,764.870 euros, indicating a downturn in alternative market activities.

Overall, the Cyprus Stock Exchange recorded a total traded value of 575,448.04 euros during the meeting. The mixed performance of the indices highlights varying investor sentiments and activities within different sectors of the market.
