Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed a day of mixed results as various indices experienced fluctuations during the latest stock exchange meeting. The CSE All Share Index closed with differing performances across its sectors, reflecting the dynamic nature of the market on this day.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index settled at 186.420, marking a slight decrease of 0.090%. The traded value for this index reached 63.611,440 euros. Meanwhile, the Main Market Index registered a more noticeable decline of 0.540%, closing at 247.540, with a traded value of 48.990,860 euros.
The Investment Companies Market Index experienced a significant drop of 1.360%, ending the day at 2.777,320 and a traded value of 38.792,790 euros. Conversely, the CSE General Index showed a minor decrease of 0.100%, closing at 317.230 with a traded value of 63.666,120 euros.
On a more positive note, the Hotels Index saw a strong performance, increasing by 3.480% to reach 1.900,030, though with a relatively low traded value of 210,200 euros. Additionally, the Alternative Market Index showed an upward trend, rising by 1.060% to close at 2.180,080, with a traded value of 14.784,260 euros.
