Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) All Share Index closed with varied results during today’s trading session. The meeting’s key figures displayed a range of outcomes across different indices, reflecting the fluctuating market conditions.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 index recorded a slight increase of 0.050%, reaching a value of 170.320 with a traded value of 1,077,157.81 euros. This marginal uptick indicates a stable performance among the major companies listed on the exchange.
The Main Market Index, however, experienced a decrease of 0.250%, closing at 229.090 with a traded value of 1,033,675.02 euros. This drop suggests a challenging session for the primary market participants.
Conversely, the Investment Companies Market Index witnessed a rise of 0.610%, closing at 3,193.130 with a traded value of 42,667.14 euros. This increase points to positive momentum in the investment companies’ sector.
The CSE General Index showed a slight rise of 0.050%, closing at 280.810 with a traded value of 1,077,260.53 euros. This indicates a stable overall market performance during the session.
The Hotels Index reported a significant increase of 1.960%, closing at 1,903.270 with a traded value of 931.00 euros, reflecting a strong performance within the hospitality sector.
Finally, the Alternative Market Index saw a rise of 0.630%, closing at 1,868.110 with a traded value of 44,744.51 euros, indicating positive activity in the alternative market sector.
