Cyprus Stock Exchange Indices Experience Mixed Results

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) All Share Index closed with varied outcomes in today’s stock exchange meeting. The indices reflected a mix of slight gains and losses across different sectors.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 index saw a marginal increase of 0.080%, closing at a value of 141.640, with a traded value of 410,441.410 euros. The Main Market Index, however, experienced a slight decline of 0.070%, closing at 196.940 with a traded value of 304,689.100 euros.

The Investment Companies Market Index dropped by 0.640%, finishing at 3,179.350, with a traded value of 49,269.860 euros. Meanwhile, the CSE General Index rose by 0.090%, reaching 234.150 with an associated traded value of 410,870.210 euros.

The Hotels Index faced the most significant drop, decreasing by 1.870% to close at 1,088.630, with a trading volume of 1,639.130 euros. Conversely, the Alternative Market Index showed a notable increase of 0.550%, closing at 1,439.960 and a traded value of 114,303.500 euros.

Overall, the session concluded with a total traded value of 418,992.60 euros, reflecting the mixed performance of the indices.
