Cyprus Stock Exchange Indices Decline

Nicosia:The Cyprus Stock Exchange saw a decline in several key indices.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 index fell by 1.25%, reaching a value of 184,490 pounds, with a traded value of 338,763.05 pounds. The Main Market Index decreased by 1.2%, standing at 245,210 pounds, and recorded a traded value of 299,134.86 pounds.

The Investment Companies Market Index experienced a slight decrease of 0.4%, bringing it to 2,668.21 pounds, with a traded value of 31,745.01 pounds. The CSE General Index dropped by 1.24%, reaching 314,000 pounds, with a traded value of 341,025.22 pounds. Meanwhile, the Hotels Index remained unchanged at 2,006.07 pounds, with no traded value reported.

Additionally, the Alternative Market Index saw a decrease of 1.26%, settling at 2,129.25 pounds, with a traded value of 41,890.36 pounds. The base value for the FTSEMed index is set at 5000.
