Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) saw a downturn in its indices during today’s trading session. The CSE All Share Index closed with various declines across different sectors, reflecting a challenging day for traders and investors.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index fell by 0.670% to settle at 137.360, with a traded value of 344,092.74 euros. The Main Market Index also experienced a decrease, dropping by 0.800% to reach 190.520 and recording a traded value of 320,981.62 euros.
The Investment Companies Market Index saw the largest decline, falling by 0.920% to 3,086.480, with a corresponding traded value of 58,231.63 euros. The CSE General Index was not spared, closing at 226.390, marking a 0.680% decrease with a traded value of 361,269.37 euros.
Meanwhile, the Hotels Index remained stable with no change in its value, while the Alternative Market Index experienced a slight reduction of 0.290%, closing at 1,394.550 with a traded value of 41,413.98 euros.
