Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) observed a generally downward trend in its indices during today's stock exchange meeting. The trading session concluded with the CSE All Share Index showing minimal fluctuations in the majority of its categories.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index observed a decrease of 0.520%, closing at a value of 184.790 pounds with a traded value of 315,939.550 pounds. The Main Market Index also experienced a drop of 0.820%, registering a closing value of 245.370 pounds and a traded value of 286,556.540 pounds.
Investment Companies Market Index recorded a decrease of 1.030%, with the index value settling at 2,758.110 pounds and a traded value amounting to 17,329.540 pounds. Meanwhile, the CSE General Index fell by 0.500%, ending the session at 314.550 pounds with a total traded value of 316,051.050 pounds.
In contrast, the Hotels Index remained stable without any percentage variation, closing at 2,035.720 pounds and a minimal traded value of 431.200 pounds. The Alternative Market Index was the only index to see a positive change, increasing by 0.440% and closing at 2,159.570 pounds with a traded value of 33,859.560 pounds.
