Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) wrapped up its trading session with significant increases across its major indices. The trading value for the day stood at 1,408,116.23 euros.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 index experienced a rise of 1.89%, closing at a value of 174.140, with a corresponding traded value of 1,381,113.330 euros. The Main Market Index saw a growth of 2.78%, ending at 231.870, with a traded value of 829,267.680 euros.
The Investment Companies Market Index also reported a rise of 2.76%, closing at 2,879.840, and a traded value of 44,999.950 euros. The CSE General Index increased by 2.31% to reach 290.690, with a traded value of 1,390,419.560 euros.
Additionally, the Hotels Index closed at 1,876.690, marking a slight increase of 0.15% with a traded value of 2,014.000 euros. The Alternative Market Index recorded an increase of 0.59%, ending at 1,932.080, with a traded value of 565,394.880 euros.
These figures reflect the percentage variation of the indices compared to the previous meeting, indicating positive momentum for the Cyprus Stock Exchange.
