Cyprus Stock Exchange Closes with Mixed Results Amidst Varied Market Performance

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed a varied close at today's stock exchange meeting, with its different indices showing mixed results. The CSE All Share Index reflected the day's trading activities, highlighting the performance of several market segments.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index ended at 180.240, marking a 0.310% decrease, with a traded value of 251,601.250 pounds. Meanwhile, the Main Market Index experienced a slight increase, closing at 243.830, which is a 0.020% rise, with a traded value of 189,139.140 pounds.

The Investment Companies Market Index showed a positive trend, increasing by 0.320% to settle at 2,993.730, and recorded a traded value of 6,248.600 pounds. In contrast, the CSE General Index fell by 0.320% to 306.630, with trading activities amounting to 253,900.190 pounds.

The Hotels Index experienced a significant drop of 4.510%, closing at 1,846.860, with a traded value of 5,201.300 pounds. Additionally, the Alternative Market Index dropped by 1.110% to 2,035.900, with a traded value of 65,880.050 pounds.
