Cyprus Stock Exchange Closes with Declines Across Major Indices

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) All Share Index concluded its recent trading session with declines observed across major indices. The FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at a value of 185.500, marking a decrease of 0.970%. The Main Market Index recorded a more significant drop of 1.300%, closing at 246.950.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the Investment Companies Market Index saw a slight decrease of 0.350%, closing at 2.724,470. The CSE General Index, mirroring the performance of the FTSE/CySE 20, also fell by 0.970% to end the session at 315.700. Meanwhile, the Hotels Index registered a decline of 0.820%, closing at 1.963,800.

The Alternative Market Index experienced a marginal decline of 0.030%, closing at 2.133,340. The total traded value for the session was recorded at 348.291,89 euros. Despite the varying degrees of decline across the indices, the overall trading activity remained steady, with the main market showing significant value turnover.
