Cyprus stands ready to establish a cooperative corporate climate in the East Med, President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades has said.
In a tweet post following a meeting he had Friday with an ExxonMobil delegation in New York, the President wrote that he had a great meeting with Senior Vice President of Exploration and New Ventures of ExxonMobil, Michael G. Cousins.
“Fruitful exchange on the excellent level of our cooperation, which will continue. I reiterated Cyprus Government`s efforts to establish a cooperative corporate climate in the East Med, wherein companies can operate within a stable and transparent investment environment. We agreed on the strategic importance of ExxonMobil presence in the maritime zones of Cyprus”, the President posted.
