The Republic of Cyprus is on standby to help put out the fires in Greece. Fire Department Spokesperson Andreas Kettis posted on X that Minister of Justice and Public Order, Marios Hartsiotis, is in constant contact with the Chief Fire Officer Nikos Logginos. Logginos spoke with the Chief of the Greek Fire Department, Lieutenant General Theodoros Vayas and has expressed Cyprus' readiness to support firefighting in the fires raging in Greece, the post reads.
