Shanghai: Cyprus took part in the international food and beverage exhibition SIAL Shanghai 2025, with an information stand of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry and the Cyprus Trade Center in Beijing. The exhibition was held from 19 to 21 May 2025 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
According to Cyprus News Agency, this participation “is part of Cyprus’ strategic actions to promote trade relations with China and other international markets, as well as to strengthen the outward outlook of Cypriot businesses and highlight the quality of Cypriot products abroad.”
The Cypriot pavilion offered visitors the opportunity to learn about the advantages of Cyprus as an international business center, as well as to get to know traditional Cypriot products. It is added that SIAL Shanghai is one of the most important international food and beverage exhibitions in Asia.
This year’s event covered a total area of 200,000 square meters, hosted over 5,000 exhibitors and attracted more than 175,000 professional visitors from over 110 countries and regions, the press release concludes.
