The Cyprus national football team won its first match in Group C2 of the Nations League, beating the Lithuanian team 1-0. At the Marijampole Stadium in Lithuania, Pittas opened the score in the 34th minute. In the second half, Temur Ketsbaia's team managed to hold the lead, keeping the Lithuanian team far from its goal post. Cyprus will compete against Kosovo on Monday, in AEK Arena Stadium.
