Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast highlighting a weak low-pressure system affecting the Cyprus sea area. The forecast covers an area that extends 8 kilometers seawards and is valid from noon on October 7, 2025, to noon on October 8, 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance is recorded at 1013 hPa. The weather is expected to be partly cloudy in the evening, becoming mainly cloudy with a risk of isolated showers. Tonight and tomorrow morning, the weather will remain predominantly cloudy with local showers and isolated thunderstorms anticipated. These weather conditions will initially occur over the northern and western regions and gradually shift towards the southern and eastern areas.
Visibility in the affected area is expected to remain good but could deteriorate to moderate or poor during showers. The sea surface temperature is currently recorded at 26°C. No warnings have been issued for the forecast period.
