Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions over the next 24-hour period. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and is valid from 1800 on August 6, 2025, until 1800 on August 7, 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the region is currently experiencing seasonal low pressure, which is expected to bring locally increased low cloud coverage, particularly over the western and northern coastal areas. Tonight and during dawn, there is a possibility of local mist, primarily affecting southeastern areas, which may lead to moderate to poor visibility conditions.
The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1005 hectopascals. The sea surface temperature in the area is currently at 28°C. Despite the seasonal low pressure and potential mist, no warnings have been issued for the forecasted period.
