Cyprus Records Scorching Temperatures Across Key Cities

Nicosia: Cyprus experienced high temperatures today, with Nicosia recording the highest temperature at 37°C, as reported by the Department of Meteorology. The weather across the island varied slightly, with other cities also experiencing significant heat.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Larnaka Airport recorded a high of 33°C, with a minimum temperature of 23°C and a relative humidity of 69% at 1200 UTC. Limassol experienced slightly cooler temperatures, with a high of 32°C and a low of 21°C, along with a humidity level of 57%.

In Pafos, the airport registered a maximum temperature of 31°C and a minimum of 22°C, with humidity reaching 68%. Frenaros also recorded a high of 33°C and a low of 22°C, with the humidity level at 67%.

Prodromos, being one of the cooler locations, experienced a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C, with a relative humidity of 28%. Meanwhile, Polis Pafos recorded temperatures ranging from 21°C to 33°C, with a humidity of 46%.

These temperatures highlight the ongoing warm spell affecting Cyprus, with significant variations in humidity across different regions.
