Cypriot health authorities announced on Sunday 4,314 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total tally of infections since the outbreak of the pandemic to 410,020. A total of 82,650 tests were carried out today, with the overall daily positivity rate standing at 5.22%
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Health, no new deaths were announced. Hospitalizations rose to 173, from 169 yesterday, while patients treated in serious condition in Intensive Care Units and Advanced Care Units were 18. Of the patients in serious condition, 2 are intubated, one is not connected to a ventilator and 15 patients are in Advanced Care Units, the Ministry added.
Data show that 54.92% of the patients treated in public hospitals have no vaccination history, while 23 post-COVID patients who are no longer infectious are intubated in serious condition in Intensive Care
