Cyprus President Travels to Zagreb for EPP Conference

Zagreb: Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides is traveling to Zagreb, Croatia, to participate in the European People's Party (EPP) conference, taking place on January 30-31. A press release issued by the Presidency states that President Christodoulides will be one of the key speakers during the proceedings. He will present the priorities of the Cyprus EU Presidency.

According to Cyprus News Agency, on the sidelines of the conference, the President of the Republic will have separate meetings with the President of the EPP, Manfred Weber, and the Party's Secretary General, Dolors Montserrat. The EPP conference will focus, among other things, on the international geopolitical situation and how these developments affect the EU.

The participants will also discuss the EPP's priorities for 2026. The President is accompanied to Croatia by Deputy Government Spokesperson, Yiannis Antoniou, and other officials.
