New york: The President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, participated in a trilateral meeting on Saturday with United Nations Secretary-General Ant³nio Guterres and Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar at the UN headquarters in New York.
According to Cyprus News Agency, President Christodoulides, along with his delegation, arrived at the venue shortly after 19.00 Cyprus time. The Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar and his team followed, arriving shortly after 19.20 for the scheduled discussions.
During the meeting, President Christodoulides was joined by Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Maria Michael and negotiator Menelaos Menelaou. The gathering aimed to address ongoing issues and discussions pertinent to Cyprus.
