Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting a shift in weather conditions over the next 24 hours. Starting from noon on January 25, 2025, until noon on January 26, 2025, the area covering 8 kilometers seawards is expected to experience a change in atmospheric pressure, leading to partly cloudy skies and local thunderstorms.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast indicates that a low-pressure system will affect the region tonight, bringing local showers and isolated thunderstorms. During these storms, wind conditions may become variable, strong, and gusty, potentially impacting local sea activities. Visibility is expected to remain good, although it may decrease to moderate or poor levels during showers.
