Cyprus police are continuing to implement increased security measures at embassies, entry points, and other sensitive locations across the country, due to the situation in the Middle East, police spokesperson Christos Andreou has told the Cyprus News Agency (CNA).
Asked about the measures being taken and whether additional security will be enforced following Israel’s strike on Iran, Andreou explained that security measures are adjusted in line with the developments and intelligence gathered by the police.
Andreou further emphasized that, given the sensitive nature of national security issues, it would not be wise to disclose specific details about these measures.
