Cyprus’ New Ambassador to Iceland Presents Credentials to Icelandic President

Nicosia: The new Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Iceland, Panayiotis Kyriacou, who is based in Copenhagen, officially presented his credentials to the President of Iceland, Ms. Halla T³masd³ttir. This significant ceremony was held on September 17 at the presidential residence in Bessasta°ir.

According to Cyprus News Agency, during the private audience that followed the presentation, Ambassador Kyriacou and President T³masd³ttir discussed bilateral issues. Ambassador Kyriacou relayed warm greetings from the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, and extended an invitation for President T³masd³ttir to visit Cyprus. The Icelandic President accepted the invitation and sent her greetings to President Christodoulides.
