Nicosia: Permanent Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) of the Cyprus National Guard underwent training on leadership, military decision-making, crisis management, and other administrative procedures from July 21 to August 1, 2025, in Cyprus. This training was conducted in cooperation with the New Jersey National Guard.
According to Cyprus News Agency, this specific training forms part of a broader program aimed at continuously upgrading the role and institution of NCOs. It marks a continuation of initiatives and directives set during the ‘Year of the NCO’ in 2024.
The press release highlighted that the National Guard places emphasis on the ongoing professional training and personal development of NCOs. It continues to establish partnerships with academic and military institutions and introduce new programs that meet modern requirements, with the aim of exchanging knowledge and best practices.
