Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, covering a period from noon on February 4, 2026, to noon on February 5, 2026. By morning, winds will transition to east to southeast at scale 3 to 4, with local increases resulting in slight sea conditions.
On the south coast, afternoon winds from southeast to southwest at scale 3 to 4 will result in smooth to slight seas. During the night, winds will shift to northwest to northeast at scale 3, maintaining smooth to slight conditions. By morning, winds are expected to change to northeast to southeast at scale 3 to 4, continuing with smooth to slight sea conditions.
The east coast will experience southeast to southwest winds at scale 3 to 4 in the afternoon, resulting in smooth to slight seas. At night, winds will start from the south to southwest at scale 3, gradually shifting to northwest to north, maintaining smooth to slight conditions. In the morning, winds will change to northwest to northeast at scale 3, gradually shifting to northeast to southeast at scale 3 to 4, with smooth to slight sea conditions persisting.
