Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its latest forecast concerning the sea area of Cyprus, effective from 0600 on April 26, 2025, until 0600 on April 27, 2025. This forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and includes details on atmospheric conditions and expectations for local weather phenomena.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the region is currently under the influence of weak low pressure, which is anticipated to bring about localized increases in cloud cover. These conditions may lead to isolated showers or thunderstorms, particularly in the early part of the afternoon. Visibility is generally expected to be good, though it may reduce to moderate levels during showers.
The forecast indicates that the atmospheric pressure at the time of issue is 1010 hPa. The sea surface temperature has been recorded at 19°C. Importantly, no weather warnings have been issued for this period, suggesting that while some weather activity is expected, it is not deemed to be severe.
