Nicosia: Cyprus observes International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD), an annual event on 15 February aimed at raising awareness of childhood cancer. The Presidency of the Republic emphasizes the need to enhance pediatric oncology care.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Presidency shared a message on X, stating that the day is "dedicated to awareness, early diagnosis, continuous research and, above all, to supporting children and their families who fight their own battle with strength and dignity."
The message also highlighted that new cases are recorded in Cyprus every year, underscoring the importance of continuously strengthening pediatric oncology care services.
