Cyprus Marine Weather Forecast Highlights Partly Cloudy Conditions and Isolated Showers

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, indicating that weak low pressure is influencing the region. The weather is expected to be partly cloudy with periods of increased cloudiness and potential isolated showers. There is also a risk of thunderstorms developing tonight.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure in the area at the time of the forecast release was measured at 1018 hPa. Visibility is generally good, although it may reduce to moderate levels during showers. The sea surface temperature is currently recorded at 21°C, with no significant warnings issued for the maritime area.

The forecast provides detailed wind and sea conditions for different coasts around Cyprus. On the West Coast, winds will range from Northeast to Southeast at a Beaufort scale of 3, occasionally reaching 3 to 4, with the sea state being smooth to slight throughout the forecast period. Similarly, the South Coast will experience Northwest to Northeast winds at 3 to 4, gradually becoming smooth to slight.

The East Coast will see Northeast to East winds at 3 to 4, with occasional increases to 4, resulting in a smooth to slight sea state. Meanwhile, the North Coast will encounter East to Southeast winds at 3 to 4, with local variations near the coast, maintaining a smooth to slight sea state.
