According to Cyprus News Agency, cooperation between the two nations is 'multifaceted and multi-level' and continues to evolve, with a focus on Defence and Security, Energy, Connectivity, Education, and Culture. This evolution reflects their shared commitment to addressing global challenges and enhancing bilateral ties.

The Cyprus Presidency underscored that Cyprus and France share 'a common approach to Europe's role in the world and the need to strengthen its strategic autonomy'. This alignment is seen as crucial for both countries as they navigate the complexities of international relations and regional stability.

Moreover, the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Cyprus and France 'has been demonstrated in practice, for the benefit of Cyprus and France, the European Union, and the wider region'.
