Manila:Foreign Affairs Minister Constantinos Kombos is visiting Manila, marking the first official visit by a Foreign Minister of Cyprus to the Philippines.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation between Cyprus and the Philippines in areas of mutual interest.

During his stay in Manila, Kombos will meet with his counterpart, Theresa Lazaro. The discussions are set to focus on enhancing bilateral relations and addressing regional and international issues of mutual concern.

This meeting follows previous interactions between the two Foreign Ministers in New York during the 80th and 81st sessions of the United Nations General Assembly in September 2025 and September 2026, respectively.
