Cyprus Forecasts Weak Low Pressure Over Sea Area

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting weak low pressure conditions over the next 24-hour period. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and notes that while the weather is expected to remain mainly fine, there may be instances of local mist, fog patches, and increased low cloud during the night and early morning hours.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s release is recorded at 1006 hPa. Visibility in the area is generally good, but is expected to become moderate to poor in instances of mist and very poor in fog. The sea surface temperature is currently at 22°C. No warnings have been issued for the forecast period.
