Cyprus FM to Participate in EU Foreign Affairs Council Meeting in Luxembourg

Luxembourg: Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos is travelling to Luxembourg Sunday, to participate in the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) held there on Monday.

According to Cyprus News Agency, during the meeting, the Foreign Ministers will exchange views, among other things, on Russian aggression against Ukraine, EU-Indo-Pacific relations, the situation in the Middle East, as well as on current issues.

In the afternoon, it adds, the Foreign Minister will participate in the ministerial meeting on cross-regional security and connectivity between EU member states and partner states of the Eastern Partnership, the Black Sea region and Central Asia. ‘The meeting will focus on energy, transport and maritime management issues,’ it adds.

Kombos is to also hold contacts with his counterparts, as well as with other officials, the announcement concludes.
