Nicosia: Weak low pressure and an unstable air mass are currently affecting the sea area around Cyprus, as observed in the latest forecast by the Cyprus Department of Meteorology. The forecast, which covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, indicates increased cloud coverage with isolated showers and thunderstorms, predominantly impacting the northern and eastern coastal areas. There is also a risk of similar weather conditions extending into the night over the northern, eastern, and southeastern coasts.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure is presently recorded at 1005 hPa, with dust in suspension gradually subsiding across the region. Despite the unsettled weather, visibility remains generally good, although it may reduce to moderate levels during showers. The sea surface temperature is currently 18°C, and there are no warnings issued for the forecast period.
