Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, effective for a 24-hour period starting from midday on July 14, 2025. The forecast, which covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, highlights the impact of seasonal low pressure affecting the region’s weather conditions.
According to Cyprus News Agency, while the weather during the day is expected to be mainly fine, there will be local increases in low cloud coverage during the night and morning. This could lead to mist and a risk of fog patches, particularly over the southern and eastern coasts. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was recorded at 1007 hPa.
Visibility is generally good, although it may reduce to moderate or poor in misty conditions, and become very poor in areas affected by fog. The sea surface temperature is currently at 27°C. Despite these conditions, no warnings have been issued for the area.
