Nicosia: Cyprus witnessed moderate temperatures today, with noticeable variations in humidity levels across different regions. As reported by the Department of Meteorology, the temperature readings offer a detailed insight into the weather conditions experienced across the island.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the highest temperature recorded was 31°C in Nicosia (Athalassa) and Larnaka Airport. Nicosia experienced a low of 19°C, while Larnaka Airport saw a slightly higher low of 20°C. Humidity at Larnaka Airport was recorded at 46%, compared to Nicosia’s 40%.
In Limassol, the New Port station reported a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C with a humidity level of 61%. The Municipal Garden in Limassol showed a slightly higher temperature, with a maximum of 30.1°C and a minimum of 19.5°C.
Pafos Airport recorded a high temperature of 28°C and a low of 20°C, with a higher humidity level of 66%. Frenaros experienced a high of 30°C and a low of 20°C, with a humidity of 59%.
Prodromos, known for its cooler climate, recorded the lowest temperatures with a high of 25°C and a low of 16°C, and a humidity level consistent with Limassol at 61%. Meanwhile, Polis Pafos mirrored Pafos Airport’s temperatures with a high of 28°C and a low of 20°C, and a slightly lower humidity at 63%.
These weather patterns reflect the diverse climate conditions prevalent in Cyprus, affecting various regions differently in terms of temperature and humidity.
