Nicosia: Cyprus is experiencing high temperatures across its major cities today, as reported by the Department of Meteorology. Residents and visitors are feeling the heat as temperatures soar to significant levels.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the highest temperature recorded was in Nicosia (Athalassa), where the mercury reached 39°C. Meanwhile, the lowest temperature in the capital city was 26°C, with humidity recorded at 42% at 1200 UTC. At Larnaka Airport, temperatures ranged from 36°C to 26°C, accompanied by a humidity level of 64%.
In Limassol (New Port), the temperature varied from 34°C to 23°C, with the humidity registering at 62%. Pafos Airport noted temperatures between 32°C and 25°C, with a high humidity level of 70%. Frenaros experienced temperatures from 35°C to 26°C and a humidity of 61%.
Prodromos reported cooler conditions with temperatures ranging from 30°C to 19°C and a humidity level of 39%. In Polis Pafos, temperatures reached 37°C, dropping to a low of 25°C, with the lowest humidity recorded at 37%.
